YOUTH MINISTRY
11111

We believe that tomorrow looks unto us hoping that we may become better occupants of the Earth and utilise the time we have to create a glorious presence of Love and happiness. The future of the nation depends on the youth of the nation, that is why our ministry takes a big deal in empowering the youth of our community through the message of Christ and Love, Education and skills, career guidance and many other actvities.

We created different activities through which we can bring together different youth to empower them to become better citizens of the Kingdom of God and the earth. Through these activities, the youth have been able to discover their God given gifts and talents, developed practical skills to help them survive, preached the gospel of Christ in the most amazing ways and become better ministers than ever imagined. Every one starts from somewhere and we believe that some of tomorrow's great leaders must be given a chance to start from somewhere were they can recieve spiritual uplifting and practical skills.

Our Youth Department is headed by a youth counsel of 12 members, who are involved in all the youth activities and ensure that the vision is followed at any cost. The counsel is headed by a leader who reports and takes orders from the senior pastor. This hierachy of administration has greatly helped us to effectively minister to the youth of our church and our community.

"We work to learn not to earn", is only a tip of the iceberg in comparison to what is shared in The Young Professionals' Association. Its about tapping into words of wisdom that flow from people who have been in the field and are willing to share how they got there. Sharing experiences from veterans in the working field, empowering each other and creating a knowledgeable and massive army of professional believers who are determined to transform their market places and spheres of influence into an ethical and God fearing platform of career, is our prime motive.

The Young Professionals' Association seeks to discover and empower the youth as they enter into the working field and those that are already there, we have created a platform from which important information about work ethics and integrity can be achieved so as to transform todays professionalism into a more God fearing aspect.

"Success is not working hard, but working smart", these are some of the principles that the young professionals should equip themselves with as they deal with the world. Pastors Solomon and Doreen Mwesige started this association after realising a great need of mentoring that exists among the young workers who spend nearly a half of their working period just discovering how to play by the rules of professionalism and success.

The association has over 100 members from Good news church who meet periodically to empower each other, the association has greatly improved the insight of workers about work and God. We believe that through this association we shall be able to attain our prime motive.
