KING SOLOMON'S ACADEMY

"The children are the future of Uganda all it takes is a helping hand to see each child's dreams fullfilled. " It is now three years ago since King Solomon`s Academy started with just a few children and now has a total number of over 400 children including a candidate class. The pupils have now moved to their new building that is more spacious and big. This happened on 31st of August 2009 and many of these kids could not wait to begin studies in their storeyed building. We thank God for the progress and those that have partnered with us to see this dream become a reality. The academy provides educational services to orphans and children from very poor families that can not afford education, the academy has a nursery section and a primary secion that are being taught and handled by a staff of professional teachers and academic experts. The academy has established its self as one of the finest schools with in the district of Wakiso, this has been achieved due to the hard work and expertise of the staff that handles the students. All members of staff are born-again christians who fully participate in our church activities and this has enabled us to impact our students spiritually due to our divine foundation. Appreciations We greatly appreciate the continued financial support of the churches of Kalamazoo with the coordination of Pastor Daniel Teerman, who have funded the construction of our new academy building. It is such a massive load of work that can not be done by one person or ministry, but with their help, this has become a reality, they have awakened the dream of accomplishment with in the hearts of the children, staff and members of our church. May the good Lord reward you Mightly We greatly appreciate and thank Feed The Hungry, for their continued support to see to it that our students get an ideal meal every day at school, organisations that have donated study materials and teaching materials, we extremly appreciate your help, individuals who have tirelessly sponsored different children so that they can also have education and those that have donated to the academy inform of finances and other property. May the Almighty God reward you incredibly. Challenges -80% of the kids are either orphans or come from extremely poor families. They have nothing to contribute towards their education.
-Completion of the new storeyed building is also a big challenge. -Raising money for our staff salary is a miracle and yet they also need a chance in life. |
Providing quality education to even the poorest people in our community.
The long awaited opening of the new school block is now here. The children entered to study for the first time in their new storeyed building. It was a joyfull moment to see each child happy and testifying what it meant to them to have a new building for studies. We greatly appreciate the churches of Kalamazoo for their continued support to fund this project, their financial support tremendously enabled us start the construction and at the moment, the ground floor has been finished and the students are learning. There is still alot to be done to complete the building but God has been faithfull from the start as the bible says that He who surely started a good work in us shall accomplish it. We believe that from the laying of the first brick God knew this work would be finished to his Glory and we have seen him fullfill this promise. May the Lord Bless the churches in Kalamazoo
