Good News Ministries was founded by Pastor Solomon Brian Mwesige, in the year 1987. It has its headquarters in Bulenga, Wakiso district, Uganda. 8 miles along the Kampala Mityana highway, with several branches in other parts of Uganda. It was founded with a three fold purpose focusing on touching the people through the gospel spiritually, physically and mentally.
Spiritually. Reaching and touching the total man that is body, soul and spirit, with the gospel of salvation, healing and deliverances. Reaching out to the community through home cells. Developing and training new leaders and planting new churches.
Physically; Helping people find good health and lead a healthy life(medically), feeding and meeting other needs of people in the community.
Mentally; Touching the lives of people through education and training.

Good News Ministries is a family of people who love the lord and share this love with the rest of the world through God's word, extending his love even to the least of these. Through our home cell program and community outreach, we have been able to establish a strong bonding and create a family like atmosphere with in our ministry. This has healed the hearts of people that have been hurt by life and the once neglected. In only five years in Bulenga, we have led a huge multitude of people to Christ and spiritually nurtured them, built a school that educates more than 300 children, feed over 800 children every day, established a medical centre that offers services 24 hours daily. We believe that we were commissioned by God to transform and meet the needs of the total man.
